Over the weekend of Sat & Sun 6th & 7th November, the International Classic Motor Show was held at the NEC Birmingham UK. On the Friday night, five bubbles were gathered together on the IOCGB stand.
The theme was "bubbles in bubbles" so there was loads of bubblewrap in evidence kindly donated by Japanese manufacturer "Sansetsu".
It was a great weekend especially as AUN225B won the award for the "Best Restored Car of The Show"
The peppermint coloured "Zetta" produced by Tri-Tech.
Dave White's bright red winner wrapped in bubblewrap with a bow on top!
Neil Unsworth's mid-way restoration which was put on stands with a mirror and light underneath.
Dave Watson's latest find, a totally original bubble with only 500 miles on the clock stored in a lady's garage for 39 years. This car raised more interest than anything else on the stand!
Matt's yellow bubble - he won the concours at the national microcar rally at Toddington.
Also on show was a very rare garage sign which you can see to the right of the Zetta.
Credit must go to Neil and Dave for sorting out the stand and the original ideas without which my bubble would not have won the award - all I did was cut up a couple of thousand bubblewrap squares to hand out to visitors!
